In elementary school, the teacher asks the kids what their parents do for a living. She looks at Little Johnny:
“Johnny, what does your father do?”
Johnny shrugs:
“He doesn’t really have a regular job. He just takes gigs.”
“Gigs? So he’s unemployed?”
“Not exactly.”
“Can he even support a family like that?”
“Oh yeah. Sometimes he gets hired as an extra in hardcore BDSM porn—scat stuff, real nasty. But it pays very well.”
The room goes silent. Absolute shock. Right then, the bell rings and the kids bolt for recess.
The teacher grabs Johnny and whispers:
“Johnny… please tell me you made that up.”
Johnny nods calmly:
“Of course I did, ma’am. I was way too ashamed to tell the class the truth.”
“And what is the truth?!”
Johnny sighs:
“My dad works for ICE.”
